On Sunday, October 25th at 11am, stop by (online!) to see children’s author Josh Funk with a storytime and discussion for his new book Short & Sweet, the fourth Lady Pancake and Sir French Toast book, in a free online event via Zoom.
Short & Sweet, the fourth in Funk’s ongoing series, brings back a favorite couple with a sci-fi twist. Lady Pancake's aching; Sir French Toast's looking pale. Could they be going . . . STALE? Maybe Professor Biscotti's despoiling gadget will help. But Biscotti accidentally transforms them into mini Toast and Pancake. Soon they're scampering through the fridge, from Bran Canyon to Limes Square. Will Baron von Waffle and Professor Biscotti figure out how to turn them back into a grown Lady and Sir? Or will they stay short & sweet forever? Find out during a live, online storytime and discussion with the author. This event is family-friendly and is the perfect opportunity for kids to ask a real-life author all their burning creative questions.
Josh Funk grew up in New England and studied Computer Science in school.
