Teaming up with local illustrator and nature-lover, Matt Patterson, naturalist Sy Montgomery brings to us her newest book: Of Time and Turtles: Mending the World, Shell by Shattered Shell. An adult companion to her May release of The Book of Turtles, also with Patterson, this newest offering is for the slightly larger shelled among us but is sure to delight all manner of reader. From the nature-loving-reptile-enthusiasts to the muddy-booted naturalists, there is sure to be wit, wisdom and Sy's characteristic infectious love of the world we inhabit for all to enjoy; especially those daring, compassionate souls who would stop traffic to help a snapping turtle in need of a crosswalk.
