Poet JENNA LE reading from and discussing her poetry. Author of two books of poetry, she is also a physician and educator in the Lebanon region of New Hampshire. She is the Minnesota-born daughter of Vietnam War refugees. Her poetry, fiction, essays, book criticism and poetry translations have been published widely.
Six Rivers (NYQ Books, 2011), her first full-length poetry collection, was a Small Press Distribution Poetry Bestseller. Her second full-length poetry collection, A History of the Cetacean American Diaspora (Indolent Books, 2018), won Second Place in the 2017 Elgin Awards, voted on by the international membership of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Poetry Association.
Lê grew up outside Minneapolis and earned her B.A. in Mathematics from Harvard University and her M.D. from Columbia University.
Saturday morning Jenna will also be reading at the Monadnock Writers Group meeting at the Peterborough Town Library.
