In the Shadow of Prometheus is the story of a young Vanguard named Oni Anagonye. As one of the Elect, she is charged with the task of helping to create society's laws through the lens of ethical review, while also protecting the lives of all citizens in the new 'Ethocratic Republic.' Yet between the interventions of a stubborn and ancient cosmic entity and dire machinations from a so-called 'Machiavellian' insurgency which will stop at nothing to bring back the existence of the traditional, domineering nation-state: the girl just can't seem to catch a break. Nevertheless, it will take all her aptitude and cunning to circumvent a plot to undermine this new, optimistic world order that has brought newfound joy and prosperity to billions.
During his undergraduate years, he became enamored of the format of the philosophical novel—particularly embracing Dostoyevsky, Kafka, Nietzsche, and Kierkegaard. Then, Colson undertook a robust study of the philosophy of Immanuel Kant—an enquiry which cemented his intellectual priorities and fundamentally transformed his views of the world, society, and experience.
Receiving his bachelor’s degree in the New Hampshire University System as president of the history honors society, L. Farnsworth attended Yale for his graduate studies in the philosophy of religion. Somewhere in all of that, he swears he must have heard something useful, and promises to get back to you with the details... L.
