Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a farmer? Do you know what it takes to grow healthy, fresh produce? Come join us and listen to a local farmer read stories about farming and tending the land; ask questions and learn about growing food... and maybe even sample some delicious, fresh vegetables, grown locally!!
Happening on a monthly basis, this program will bring volunteers from various Monadnock area organizations to the Toadstool Bookshop for story-time read-alouds to present a book or two that relates to the reader's profession/organization. They will chat with kids and their families about their job, how their organization helps our community, and other points relevant to children's lives.
