Peterborough - "Klessa" and more in concert

in concert – lots of music with: KLESSA  a traveling band of musicians from New Paltz NY, returning to the Toadstool after a couple of years.  Clarinet, accordion, guitar, handheld percussion, and voices are somersaulted into the air without the aid of a pa system.  Pure and sincere, their songs are stories woven through gardens, apple trees, and curious mountain lakes.  

CHRISTINE HAYWARD, the warbling and steady-voiced songstress melts hearts and brains with a simple ukulele and her voice.  Her songs are Steinbeck, Billie Holiday, and Joni Mitchell. 

SON OF THE RENEGADE is Ben Rogers, recording engineer, producer, soundman, and musician, seldom does someone so young have such a storied resume.  Well before 30, and he has played in Death to Tyrants, Moving Pictures, Skin Bicycle, SOTR, Adeem, Redwing Blackbird, Lonesome Lake, and more, and now it's all stripped down to a guitar and his gentle rock n roll voice.  All ages $5.
