Three Local Poets- One Poetry Reading

Saturday January 9th at 11am The Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough will present a poetry reading with three area poets.

     Kate Gleason’s latest collection of poetry is Measuring The Dark, winner of the 2008 Zone 3 Press First Book Award. Her work has appeared in Best American Poetry and many poetry reviews. She also leads writing workshops, retreats, and seminars.

  Martha Deborah Hall has published two collections of poetry, My Side Of The Street and Two Grains In Time. Her poetry has also appeared in numerous national journals.

          Leigh Marthe’s first chapbook of poetry is This Exact Life published in 2008 by Wind In The Timothy Press.  She just completed her doctoral studies in Higher Education Leadership. She lives in Westmoreland with her husband composer Larry Siegel.
