Sometimes when we are very young and need a playmate, we make up imaginary friends. This is true for Leigh, with one exception: she kept hers until she was seventeen. Believed to be the onset of mental illness, her family and friends stepped in to help her. A doctor even prescribed mdeication - all to no avail.

It wasn't until her friend Jordan believed in her 'friends', and with his help Leigh was able to make them disappear. But now Jordan is also missing. When his murdered body is found, Leigh realizes her imaginary friends have returned, and they are more real than anyone thought.
