Please join us in welcoming back former Hollis resident ROBERT DeMAYO, here to talk about and sign his books including his exciting new historical narrative The Making of Theodore Roosevelt.
In the fall of 1878, twenty year old Theodore Roosevelt made the first of three trips to northern Maine where he was guided through the wilderness by two seasoned woodsmen: William Wingate Sewall and Wilmot Dow. These journeys transformed Teddy from a sickly, depressed boy, to a young man who was ready to take on the world. Based on real events and documents, ROBERT has fashioned a riveting tale of a youth blazing to life in the Maine woods.
