“Catching the Accusers,” by local, Fitzwilliam author Rob Young, is a true-life detective story, told in the style of TV Detective Columbo, that uses information accidentally leaked by the NFL to prove not only that the Patriots did not deflate any footballs but that the NFL knew the Patriots were innocent.
The NFL framed the Patriots through a combination of withholding crucial data, applying spin, and fake science. The NFL’s “Wells Report” contained nearly enough breadcrumbs to prove all this. The NFL’s character-assassin, Ted Wells, later accidentally revealed the remaining, crucial, missing breadcrumbs that his co-conspirators had worked so hard to keep out of their report.
Rob Young is often out standing in his field (see picture). He is abnormally angered by the kinds of injustices that are caused by public failure to care about getting the facts right, and by people exploiting that failure. He has a liberal arts degree and a Master of Business Administration, earned with class rank tied for two and tied for one, and an engineering degree, all from prestigious schools at Dartmouth College.
