KEENE - John T. Hitchner to read from and sign his book of poetry, "Seasons and Shadows"

John T. Hitchner will read from and sign his book, Seasons and Shadows. His poetry and fiction have appeared in many journals. He has been a Featured Poet in The Aurorean and received the Robert Penn Warren Free Verse Award from The Anthology of New England Writers. His short story "Memorial Day" was recently recognized as Highly Commended by the John H. Reid / Tom Howard Winning Writers Contest.

John T. "Jack" Hitchner was born and raised in New Jersey, graduated from Glassboro State College and Dartmouth College, and attended the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. For over 36 years he taught English in public schools in New Jersey and in Keene, New Hampshire. He now teaches Creative Writing and Coming of Age in War and Peace at Keene State College.
