KEENE - Amy McCoy signing her new book *Poor Girl Gourmet*

On Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., Amy McCoy will talk about and sign her new book, Poor Girl Gourmet: Eat in Style on a Bare-Bones Budget. McCoy loves eating well but hates paying a lot. Based on her blog, her cookbook features decadent and delectable recipes for foodies with limited budgets, but sophisticated tastes.

She breaks down the costs for each dish while also
offering money-saving strategies, including tips for growing and preserving your own food, as well as ideas for quick and delicious family meals.

McCoy lives on a gentleman's farm in southeastern Massachusetts.

For the month of June, The Toadstool Bookshop in Keene will be accepting donations of nonperishable food for the Keene Community Kitchen.
